Re: Are WILDs and Astral Projections the same thing?

One is a lucid dream, the other often is not a lucid dream. You have to be aware of the dream in order for it to be a lucid dream, which often when people imagine themselves turning into Danny Phantom, they think they are really "Going ghost!" so it ends up not being a lucid dream. I had ...

Are WILDs and Astral Projections the same thing?

I've had this question for a while now. Is a WILD (Wake-Induced-Lucid-Dream) the same thing as a Astral Projection? Both of them have a process almost identical. You relax in bed and have your body fall asleep while you stay awake in your mind, and then you visualize a dream scene or imagine your dr...

Re: Where is that rush of clarity?

I have the same problem as you. Even though I become lucid and can control my actions, the clarity doesn't change all that much even after doing things to increase dream vividness such as rubbing hands together and repeating "this is a dream".

Re: Almost Met My Subconsious Mind! (2nd Lucid Dream)

I like your line of questioning. Sure flying is great and all, but I am much more fascinated with interacting with my subconscious to understand some of the larger, deeper questions. I hope you do get to meet your subconsciousness and do get to ask some of your questions. Good Luck. Thanks man! I'm...

Almost Met My Subconsious Mind! (2nd Lucid Dream)

Last night I had my second lucid dream, and I was so close to meeting my subconscious mind! Here's how the lucid dream went down. So I was in my bathroom in my house just looking at my reflection in a mirror. I then asked myself "am I dreaming?" and realized I was in a dream. My face kind ...

Re: How Do You Stay Motivated To Do Lucid Dreaming?

I didn't read it all, but will give my two cents. Is lucid dreaming work, or is it a hobby? ;) I tell you, sometimes I don't even bother trying anymore, and take breaks from it. I didn't record any dreams this whole month. I still recall them in the morning though, and have been lucid a few times j...

Re: Can You Develop RL Skills in a Lucid Dream?

Yes. When I was first starting off when I was really young, I had serious issues with interacting with others. I would not interact with others in real life and wouldn't look in their eyes. When visitors would come to the door, I would hide in the closet. This reflected very much in my lucid dreams...

Re: How Do You Stay Motivated To Do Lucid Dreaming?

I've just been doing reality checks/questioning my reality throughout the day along with MILD. Do you keep a dream journal? In the past I have always hated keeping a dream journal. It was just such a pain to record my dreams. But, I have discovered that it is far more valuable than I ever thought. ...

Can You Develop RL Skills in a Lucid Dream?

I've heard that you can develop real life skills like playing an instrument, playing a sport, etc. So I'm curious, Have any of you developed any skills in a lucid dream that transcended into real life. If so what what skill did you develop and what was it like and how did it work? All responses are ...
