Visualization Inquiry

Okay, so, I've been trying and failing at lucid dreaming for roughly six years now, and here's a question I've never thought to ask. The type of visualization used for WILDS, hypnagogic imagery molding, and pretty much everything else- which type is it? If that doesn't make much sense, I'll elaborat...

Re: Problem With Sleeping

I still am having this issue, somewhat sporadically. The good news is it's now less of an issue since it allows me to try SILDs and FILDs, even if I have been unable to lucid dream thus far.

Re: Problem With Sleeping

Currently, I have been attempting MILD, with SILD and FILD (still unused thus far but I plan to use it) when I wake up. WBTB wakes my family up as well so I cannot use that. Stop keeping a dream journal? Are you sure?

Re: Problem With Sleeping

Hmm, so stop trying so hard? Why would that be causing me to wake up though?

Re: Problem With Sleeping

Still having sleeping problems; I keep waking up in the middle of the night with no dream recollection. Does anyone else have this problem?

Re: Problem With Sleeping

Glad to know it's not necessarily going to last forever, because it happened again last night. This time I attempted a Sense Initiated Lucid Dream as soon as I realized I was awake, but then ended up doing so for around 30 minutes without being able to fall asleep for some reason. Despite losing fee...

Re: Problem With Sleeping

Depending on how often I wake up it varies from about two to three hours. Ex. I went to bed at 11, woke up at 1:38, then later sometime after 3, then finally at 5 something or other. I tried going to bed earlier to fix this (ten o' clock) and I still woke up at some time after one. I usually remembe...

Problem With Sleeping

I recently experienced something that made me take my interest in lucid dreams more seriously again, and am now more determined than ever to start having them. But for some reason, despite the fact that I'm a pretty heavy sleeper, I've now been waking up constantly in the middle of the night and I c...

Hopefully this will be a technique that will work for me- none of the others have. Guess I'll give this a go tonight...

Re: WILD Problem (Shudder)

are you lying on your back when you get the jolt?, if so you most likely have gone to sleep for an instant and woken again and the jolt is the awakening. Just lay there quietly and try again Yes, I am always on my back. But I'm fairly sure that I never fell asleep, though I'll still eave that as a ...
