It's a good start. Also if you want to take advantage of a 2000% increase of going Lucid then wake up 2 to 3 hours before your regular wake up time and stay up 30+ min and go back to bed. Sure. Just remember that the biggest problem with Lucid Dreaming is discouragement. Make sure you keep practicing no matter how hard it seems. I personal don't like alarms, to noisy. You could try drinking some water before bed that way your body is forced to wake up to use the bathroom. Good point. I totally forgot about meditating before sleep. It helps relax the mind. Plus after is the best time to reinforce the notion of remember to dream and to go lucid. Great catch.
