Re: What are your religious views?

However, I don't believe, therefore I cannot enjoy that comfort. I have to live every day knowing that my expiration creeps closer year by year. And when people are finally deceased and gone, do you know where they really are? They're not. That's where they are. They are NOT. It is a scary thought....

Re: What are your religious views?

I'm a bit between the bottom two options. I largely ignore the proposition of god, and I don't believe in him, but I also recognize that there is no real way for me to tell at this point in time. I don't really think that it would affect me either way, though, because there are very few things that ...

Re: How do you realize you are lucid?

For me there is never a realization, I'm almost always just lucid from the start of the scene whenever I am lucid.

Re: How much time do you spend on Journaling?

You can spend as much or as little time as you like journaling. What may be best for you is making a list of dreamsigns, including emotions and dispositions, and journal the entire dream later. Alternatively, you can use a voice recorder to get the dream down in a couple of minutes. In my experience...

Re: Best dream journal?

Pen and paper is always good, but I use Catch Notes during the night and then transcribe them into a forum DJ in the morning. For an offline DJ program, I would recommend Liquid Dream (http://www.lucid-code.com/LiquidDream/) hands down.

Re: family dreams

Can you type up the complete dream? It is difficult to interpret off of so little information.

Re: Life after death?

I would say that, while I hope there is an afterlife (depending on the scenario), I don't necessarily believe in one and won't until I personally experience something that will allow me to place my belief on something other than blind faith. In Rebecca's scenario, I think not only would I go through...

Re: Waking up Too Early

Not unless you want to remove it completely, in which case you can just ignore it and it will eventually go away. I find, however, that when you wake up 'early' like that, you can make the best of the situation by meditating and pretending to dream. Just continue the dream from where it left off or ...

Re: My Only Case of Sleep Paralysis..or so I think.

That sounds like a pretty standard case of SP to me. I personally have had hallucinations of other beings in the room, and there is usually a feeling of terror that accompanies it. It is nothing to worry about, and you can use it to escape into a lucid dream or AP experience (if you believe in such)...

Re: Techniques for Beginners

That ADA is very good advice, and though I have been trying to build that myself, I never thought of scheduling awareness 'appointments'. I have just been trying (and failing) to do it generally during the day. Now that you mention it, I think it would be good to add one more step to that, which wou...
