Re: Does autism affect the ability to lucid dream?

I myself wouldn't know since I'm still a beginner at this and have been trying at it with minimal results for only around a month and a half. Most of my trouble has come from being extremely overstressed, but I'm now kind of concerned that my autism might be affecting my capability of lucid dreaming...

Re: Er, Hi?

Just a quick update, I finally had a dream yesterday while taking a nap after almost two weeks of not having one and I am really happy and the best thing is, I think I was actually lucid for what I could tell to be 6ish seconds in it I was starting to lose hope in my ability but this completely repl...

Re: Er, Hi?

But we must cultivate that still awareness that accepts every percept without judgement. We must seek the present moment without chasing any enticing mental narrative. The state we want is one where we witness thoughts arise and fall away as we effortlessly observe---as opposed to our default state...

Re: Er, Hi?

What an insightful thread. I honestly didn't expect this thread to go on this long, it just started as an awkward introduction and I guess it developed more into a sort of emotional explanation. This may be slightly off topic, but I haven't had good sleep for over a week; the most I've had was thre...

Re: Er, Hi?

It's just kind of a caricature of myself holding a pointed index finger against the general area of my chin, not really anything meaningful. On a slight change of topic, just today I've finally drawn something which I was instantly proud of. And somehow just being proud of that opened my eyes on my ...

Re: Er, Hi?

I'm not sure if your situation is anything like that but I really want to thank you because you raising my awareness of how those harsh inner voices still operate [...] So I want to thank you so much because until I read your post I was so blind to my own inner critic beating me up every time I for...

Re: I feel like i'm waning

I think the problem with my dream recall was mainly due to the extreme stress and workload that's been dumped on me from school. I haven't been able to get good rest for about a week and the stress made it hard for me to relax, so now that the work is finally almost done my dream recall might start ...

Re: I feel like i'm waning

So I hope your lucid dreaming comes back to you and how you get back in touch with your practices. Er... I'm still kind of working towards what I would qualify as my first lucid dream. I had a really confusing dream that was on the brink of it a bit back, but otherwise i'm still trying. I do care a...

I feel like i'm waning

I'm still very new to lucid dreaming, and even just dreaming in general; maybe only 2ish weeks of trying now. I've been trying my best to keep consistent with meditation and reality checks (reality checks I have to work on doing more of), but the last week has destroyed me out of stress and it feels...
