Giving tasks? That is not possible... We have free will and our actions is decided by our conscious mind not our subconscious. Our subconscious is what backs us up with certain activities by making us feel motivated to pick a certain task over another because the subconscious mind has been rewarded ...

But wouldn't the very nature of lucid dreaming make this impossible? If you dreaming that you go to sleep and dream, and become aware of that dream, would you not then be experiencing lucid dreaming?
