Re: Suffocation During S.P

Thanks for the tips! Although I've never found myself naturally entering a lucid dream in the way you described. It's not so much that I focus on a bodily separation as much as a shifting of awareness. The shift of awareness is something that for some reason I have never been able to accomplish. And...

Re: WILD Sleep Paralysis Phase For Hours

I have the exact same issue. I can get into sleep paralysis and sometimes vibrations but I can't seem to transition from those states. I either end up hanging out in sleep paralysis or it just fades off me after a while. However people here are saying you can't move at all in sleep paralysis, but I ...

Suffocation During S.P

I haven't been active on here in a long time, nor have I posted anything in a long time. I haven't been actively trying to lucid dream or go out of body for a long while either, until recently. I've had a few interesting experiences that led me to believe that revisting OBE and Lucid Dream attempts ...

Re: Rubbing hands together!

I tried to use this to become fully lucid and pop in, but it did not work at all lol.

It was funny really. But frustrating too!

Re: Lucid Dreaming and drugs

I would imagine it would probably reduce the lucid dream count and even normal dream count.

I know that consumption of alcohol dramatically reduces the amount of REM sleep you get and the amount of dreams you have.

Anytime SWIM has smoked weed, the dream count has been noticeably lower.

No pop in?!

So last night I was having wicked crazy dreams, and then suddenly I thought to look at my hands. Of course, there was 6 fingers and 1 thumb. So I knew I was dreaming. Then I pushed two fingers through my palm. I couldn't quite get them all the way through my hand, but because I had done that before ...

Re: Suffocation. Or not?

This has never happened to me before, but then again, I never even thought about it before. If I was thinking about my breathing I would get concerned just like you and it would become an issue. But it is hard to tell yourself to not think about it, because the very act of telling yourself, makes y...

Re: WILD: what to do next?

KylePK, you'll be fine. That's exactly it. It feels physical but then it turns out not to be. When you "separate", do it with confidence and move without tensing up. Think that it has already worked. Do it robotically, without mulling over what you are doing and if you are doing it right....

Re: Suffocation. Or not?

Hey thanks :D you confirmed everything that I was thinking, but was unsure of.

It's a terrifying and wrong feeling, submitting to suffocation lol but I know its illusionary, as you said. I will just try to relax and imagine myself breathing fresh air in the dream to push the fear aside.

Re: WILD: what to do next?

Remain calm and proceed to amplifying the unusual sensations whatever they are. They indicate that you are entering that hybrid state of mind that is required for lucid dreaming. If there is no visual stimulus but sounds and/or vibrations are present, simply make them reach a peak and them act as t...
