Re: Reality Checks

I use an app on my smartphone (android) called 'sleep check reminder'. You can set it to give you however many reminders you want, evenly spaced out or in random intervals. I set it to around 5 per day in random intervals, and proceed to ask myself the questions Ryan mentioned. Idk if you have a sm...

Waking up during a reality check

Last night I had my first deliberate lucid dream, I was starting to suspect it being a dream when a table suddenly disappeared while I wasn't looking at it. I did a reality check to be sure and my hands passed through each other. But before I could even pull my hands apart I woke up, does anyone kno...

Re: Demonic Figures and OBE's

I'm sorry but as someone who sees himself quite educated in the scientific fields I have to say that seeing Quantum Physics as ungraspable by the human mind a rather negative view, I prefer using "a challenge".

the joke thread

[[ Why so serious? This is a thread for jokes! ]] After a recent night terror I am afraid to go asleep again. What I remember in my dream was being in a room with just a computer screen. I looked at the screen and the text on it spread around me. Then I saw the most horrible thing I've ever seen. It...

Re: sleep paralysis

They are electrical pulses fired from the part of your brain that is your unconscious. The figures aren't real and only exist in your unconscious and visual imaging processing centers.

Re: Problems with remembering dreams

Over the past week my dream recall has sharply increased to at least 1 dream per night. (one night even 2) Some I remembered better then others but I've had a few awesome experiences. (even though I had no lucid dreams yet) And that thanks to the help I got in this thread. Thanks. :D

Re: MILD effectiveness?

I have been trying MILD for a few days now, no lucid dreams yet but it does work great against insomnia.

Can I scatter hints in my dream to remain lucid?

About a weak ago I had my first lucid dream (which lasted a few seconds but still was lucid) and since then I managed to drastically improve my dream recall, but I did not have a second lucid dream yet. My question is, when I'm lucid dreaming, can I scatter hints in the dream scene to stay lucid? (f...

Re: You ever have that Deja Vu feeling?

Happened to me before. From what I heard it's not a prediction, it's new memories overwriting old dream memories. It didn't actually happen in the dream, you just start remembering it that way because of a new memory.

Re: dream flashes

My normal memory is like that so I guess it's not something to worry about.
