Re: Problems with controlling my lucid dream

Ha, I like the idea of causing havoc in my dreams...yeah, i tend to just walk around and wait for exciting things to happen. Kinda like real life, and I can't say my real life is boring because I'm too busy with real life responsibilities like kids to be bored, but mundane? Hell yes. Part of my prob...

Re: Vibrations/bodily sensations

I experienced this as well and what helped me get past it is that I pushed my body down into the bed and then I would slip into a WILD and I would sink what would seem like many many feet and wind up in my dream landscape. The vibrations stopped once I made that transition into the lucid state. I al...

Re: The First Phase of Sleep

If it's a nap, I can usually lucid dream using the WILD technique right off the bat. My naps are short and deep and I do a lot lucid dreaming during nap time. I've never had one right off the bat when going to bed after a long day and I'm really tired. But if do some mantras like, "I will lucid...

Re: Problems with controlling my lucid dream

Thanks, I appreciate the response. It was good to read those again. I remember reading them back when I first came on here. I've tried the spinning technique, and it hasn't worked for me yet. I need to look for doors. That one has actually happened before. Or tunnels.

Problems with controlling my lucid dream

Hello, It's been a long time since I've been on here. I first posted at least a couple of years ago when I accidentally had a lucid dream that freaked me the hell out, so I googled what it was to "be awake during a dream" and learned that what I was doing was lucid dreaming. Anyway, since ...

Most Lucid LD Yet! They keep getting better!

So, I took a break from actively thinking about LD's on a daily basis. I thought about it yesterday and before bed, I did a little conscious prepping - thinking about what I will do when I'm dreaming, thinking about my last LD and what I'd like to try to do differently. The end result is that I had ...

Re: DC's hijack my LD's and problems with dreamscapes

I'm also still totally unable to control my dreamscape. The stuff that Rebecca writes about visualizing a dreamscape and then just popping into it has NEVER worked for me. I pop into LD's and just take what I get! Sometimes it's nothing - just blackness. Most of the time it's my own apartment and t...

Re: DC's hijack my LD's and problems with dreamscapes

Mine still don't last a real long time. Most about 5 mins, some as long as 7 or 8, I think. Since I know that I can control my own actions, I play around at first - fly, put my hands through walls, jump and leap and float just to see what I can do. Then I usually seek out a DC to talk to, though I w...

Re: Sleep deprived. good time to attempt a WILD?

Peter's experience is what I have experienced. When I'm under a great deal of stress, I don't have any LD's, but when I'm not, I can have LD's whether or not I'm sleep deprived or have had too much alcohol, etc. The stress is the main factor for me. It does always happen in the early morn hours...af...
