Re: Not sure if I was lucid or not...

Last night I had a strange sort of dream, I was lucid immidiatly but I didn't get a sudden surge of excitement or anything, infact my reaction was more of a measly 'meh'. Now and when I woke up my reaction was the same, but nevertheless it was an amazing/(one of the) best dreams I've had :D But me ...

Re: Sense of TIMING in a lucid dream

I was watching an interesting video about how the brain can operate at higher frequencies which not only seems to slow down time, but leads to an enriched consciousness.

Re: New Wannabe Lucid Dreamer with questions!

Hey everybody. I just started getting interested in Lucid Dreaming a couple of days ago. I have known about it for about 6 months, but haven't started really trying until a few days ago. Anyway, I want to get lucid dreaming as fast as possible, and I think I'm using all the good techniques (I have ...

Re: "Yo" from America, an introduction of me, TheCaptain5

I've already posted two topics hear in the forum and I haven't even introduced myself yet. How rude am I? :) Anyway, I'm from Utah, the United States of America. I'm 15 (sixteen in less than two months) and are an unpublished writer working hard to get my first few books out and about. I've been le...

Re: Sense of TIMING in a lucid dream

if a lucid dream felt like it lasted 15 minutes, did it really last 15 minutes or was my mind going faster or slower than usual and it was actually 5 or 30 minutes real time? I have a feeling it is probably quite accurate because if you sit in a waiting room without a clock, most people can tell wh...

Re: Beginner Questions Welcome!

I've found that staying in the same position that I wake up in, and playing the dream back to front (so you can trace what caused what) really helps. ok, but the problem is that there's no dream to play back to front... It can be hard to remember sometimes. I try to lay still for a few minutes with...

Re: Beginner Questions Welcome!

something i noticed on my way to frequent lucid dreams, is that whenever i'm roused by my alarmclock in the morning, i can't seem to remember anything about my dreams. This happens 90% of the time. My REM cycle must be pretty messed up :-/ luckily i only have to get up early 2 times a week. The oth...

Re: You will get there if you keep going

And you won't if you don't. Hello everybody, although this post is really only for people having trouble getting lucid. Lucid dreaming, unless you're very talented, requires a bit of practice and dedication. This site is full of great techniques and tips but I want to make a more general point here...

Re: Meditation Impossible

From what I've read, meditating every day can help with dream recall and LD's. I would love to do this, but here's the problem. My brain hasn't shut up in 41 years. Not for 3 seconds. It's not about to start now. Everything I read about meditating says to "clear your mind" and that "...
