Sleeping on cue

Ok, I know I've been the author of many stupid questions in the past, but please bear with me. I read on WebMD that if you lack sleep, you go straight into the vivid dreaming state. Is this advisable for lucid dream attempts, and if so, how many hours of sleep do I need to deprive myself of? (I'm 14.)

Effectiveness of MILD's

I naturally have about 2 lucid dreams a week, but I want to try the MILD technique. However, I have absolutely no clue about how effective MILD is. I know that an experienced lucid dreamer can WILD every night successfully, but is MILD equally effective?

Using lucid dreams for recall purposes?

Would it be possible to use lucid dreaming as an opportunity to recall long-lost memories that your subconscious may still remember?

Delirium? or something else?

One night, I had the flu, and my temperature was 103 or 104, and I told myself that there was no way I'd have a lucid dream, might as well just try and get some sleep. As I lay there, part of my conscious mind shut down almost immediately. The rest of my mind started to pump out thoughts. At first, ...

Re: Newbie!

1)Twice a week. Been pretty consistent. 2)I don't really use techniques, I've been lucid dreaming since I was a small child. Back then I used the MILD technique, before I knew what it was called. 3)Yes, although the majority of those goals will never be accomplished. Your conscious mind doesn't work...

Looked it up...People in comas either don't dream or have twisted illogical nightmares..

Dreamless sleep

Last night, I didn't have any dreams at all. Not a single one. I woke in the middle of the night around early REM time for me and went back to sleep without even one dream. Its not that I don't remember the dreams, its just it was from blackness to blackness to blackness. Nothing. Ever since I start...

Re: Do LDs occur in a coma?

Yup. An extremely stable lucid dream that's easy to prolong, and will last months. Bliss. :D

Re: Problems Trying to Wake Up

In my lucid dreams, I can simply faint on purpose, instantaneously ending the dream. Before though, I had to tell myself to focus the best I could and dispel the dream with all my willpower. That didn't mean that I woke up, though, I usually went straight into another dream. BTW, can you move in the...
