Re: Please help.

I don't use tried and tested techniques. i developed my own with a very good success rate. I go to sleep as normal. then when you wake up lie in bed repeating in your head " am i dreaming? this must be a dream! im not really awake am i? " and things along them lines. I also reach out very ...

Re: How do I Induce Nightmares?

I believe nightnares are the manifestation of waking stresses and problems weighing heavy on your mind. It's the sub conscious trying to sort out the problems you face in life. If you actively want to induce nightmare ( and i'm not sure why you want to) you need to bring stress and problems into you...

Lucid dream or Actual contact with the other side

Ok so I've been working on lucid dreaming for a while. I seem to have a natural abilty to lucid dream without the need for diarys and tried and tested techinques. When i decide i want to go lucid 8 time out of 10 it happens. SO.... i had a disturbing encounter last night ( afternoon actually). I put...

Re: WOW i mastered it last night!!!

I'm not sure how to extend it much really as mine have also been quite short. Although recently they have lengthed to what feels like a couple of minutes ( but with an sort of tugging feeling to wake up and me trying to fight it). I think the duration may have something to do with the number of time...

Re: Dead family in lucid dreams

Personally, I believe it is completely possible, not only that though many people have communicated with dead loved ones in dreams and received information they didnt know from them, which makes it seem as if they where indeed real. Now also, we could just be creating a DC that looks a dead loved o...

Re: False Awakenings

So you've also had false awakenings but don't often realise they are untill after you really wake up? . I only recently started having them ( or recently recoqnising them) after doing some very simple things. Waking up after sleep as normal and then just lye there questioning over and over in my hea...

Re: How did you discover Lucid Dreaming?

When i was younger maybe 16 or 17 i had three out of body experiences without knowing what they were. they scared me and i called a local radio station that runs a phone in and spoke to the host who is heavily into ghosts, strange phenomena, the unexplained etc etc and when i described what happened...

Dead family in lucid dreams

The last two nights i have achieved a degree of lucidity i have seen my mother who died in 2011. This got me thinking, was i putting her there because sub consciously i was thinking about her or is it possible her ' spirit' is trying to speak to me through dreams? perhaps she doesn't know she's dead...

False Awakenings

recently i've been able to go lucid regularly, much more regular than ever before. I don't use dream journals or lots of other techniques i've read about. All i do is wake up from a normal sleep, lye in bed trying to convince myself i'm still dreaming and touch nearby objects to my bed. Also at the ...

Re: Does this happen to anyone else?

i sometimes ( actually mostly) get ripped from lucidity with sort of rising throbbing buzz feeling. I struggle to fight it and stay asleep but it gets gradually more intense untill i can't take it anymore.. the world swirls and melts into darkness and then i'm fully awake with an anxious heart beati...
