Re: First Lucid Dream?

Thanks for the reply. I'm over the hoax idea, I think that mindset was a product of self doubt. Any way, is it possible to be partially lucid? I feel like I realized that I wasn't within the realm of reality. I attempted to fly which is something I wouldn't do in waking life. Either way, if this was...

First Lucid Dream?

So I first learned about lucid dreaming maybe a month and a half ago. When I first learned about it I was trying to lucid dream every night with multiple techniques, I had a dream journal, did reality checks in the day, etc. After a while, after no success, I decided to take a break because I was lo...

First WILD

Alright I know I have asked alot of questions and I am trying not to be annoying but I need an answer for this. Last night I attempted my first WILD after a WBTB. I laid completely still using the counting technique (1, I'm dreaming, 2, I'm dreaming, and so on) after getting relaxed. Then something ...

Should I be pushing all thoughts out of my head, repeating some sort of mantra to incubate a dream, doing a visualization, or just focusing on my breathing. I've read through the guide but it seems to me that doing more than just on...

Re: A couple questions

Interesting, thanks for a helpful and prompt reply. I find it curious that a rem rebound can help with lucidity as I have read that sleep deprivation can hinder the process. I suppose an hour or two of sleep lost wouldn't be detrimental every once in a while.

A couple questions

Hi, I'm new and I have a couple questions. When using the wake back to bed method, is it possible to use the WILD technique when returning to bed or should I stick with MILD? On my second night of attempting lucid dreaming, I tried to the use the MILD technique with WBTB. I lied awake for hours and ...

Just starting off

Hi, I'm new to the whole concept of lucid dreaming. I found this website and have learned a lot about lucid dreaming but I still have not had one of my own yet. I've been trying for about a week now using the MILD and WBTB methods but I've had no success. I'm going to keep up hope and keep trying be...
