Re: Writing Dreams vs Recording

For me, it is much more convenient to have a voice recording of my dream because I have to get ready for school in the morning. Then when I have the time, I listen to the recording and right it down in my journal.

Re: has anyone ever dreamt of "This Man"?

I've heard of this too, however, as it turns out the whole thing was a hoax. However, it is likely that many people have a repeating characters in their dreams who give advice.

Lucid Dream 3 Layers Deep + Epic/Not So Epic Fight

This was a pretty awesome, long, dream I had where I way in 3 different "levels" of a dream. This story includes Sylar, a fictional character from the TV series Heroes, which I am addicted to. (1st Level) I'm in a convenient store with my brother trying to pick out a snack. I walked around...

Re: Lucid in the Sky with Diamonds

I have songs in my dreams on occasion. Sometimes I don't even know what the song is though. I've been lucid dreaming since November of 2013 but I've just recently had my first successful WILD (I've had about 80 normal lucid dreams). I kept going in and out of the dream, and I would know when I was i...

Re: Failed telekinesis attempt

Similar to what deschain said, you have to make your brain understand that everything is possible, which can be difficult at times. Something that has actually helped me is watching the show "Heroes" on Netflix (which by the way is a great show). From watching all of these people with supe...

Re: How do you shop yourself waking up?

Well, the first step is to always stay calm. Just stop what you are doing and just breathe in and out deeply a few times and follow your breathing. A problem I have is that I start running in a random direction (I usually realize I'm dreaming in my house), but it's pretty pointless, so yeah just sta...

Re: I want to know about the first 90-minute period before t

If I understand what you are saying you are talking about NREM (non-rapid eye movement). I'm not sure whether or not it can be shortened, but the matter of fact is, the NREM periods are vital for day to day activity. NREM periods are a time where the body repairs itself, so you wouldn't want to shor...

Re: Hands Pre and Post Lucidity

In my lucid dreams, my hands ALWAYS have extra fingers. I think this is because you cannot count objects well in a lucid dream. Did you count your fingers when you were examining your hands? There might appear to be five fingers, but when you count them, you will often count 7 or 8 fingers. For me,...

Re: The hypnagogia

Could you explain this for me real quick? So a couple of weeks ago I was trying a WILD after waking up pretty early in the morning. I went into paralysis and started seeing a bunch of vibrant colors. This keeps going on for a long time. I hear an auditory hallucination and then I lose consciousness...
