Re: Help Starting Off

Hi Madminer, I found it easiest to enter a lucid dream after waking up at night (best time for me are the morning hours): After waking up, maybe walk around the house for a few minutes, then go back to bed and lie very still, don´t move at all. That can be hard, but try it out and be patient. Keep l...

I usually don´t get much of a reaction from DCs. They just turn their back on me whenever I do something weird. I wonder why.

Re: No control in LD.

Has it ever worked for you before, the flying? Like, could you do it perfectly and just lost the ability? Or has it always been difficult? If you could do it at some point in the past, maybe you could hold onto that thought? As in, you could do it before, so why would there be a problem doing it aga...

Re: No control in LD.

This reminds me a bit of my problem with being unable to move at a normal pace... I often crawl through my dreams in slow motion... Could your flying problem possibly be caused by some sort of mental block? I think that´s the problem I´m having with moving at a normal pace. It´s like I´m too aware o...

Re: Light and Darkness

I usually get LDs after waking up at night and falling back asleep. I sleep with the shutters up, so the only light in the room would be coming from the moon and stars. One thing I´ve noticed though: Since it´s dark in awake world, it´s always nighttime in my LDs as well. Haven´t really figured out ...

Re: Having some difficulties...

That may be part of the issue. It helps one stay in a LD better if one has an actual goal of something to do, helps to have something to focus on and a desire to being doing that thing. Yeah, I think that could be it! I had another LD where I set my mind to finding a certain DC. I didn´t find him; ...

Did I only dream I was lucid?

Hello there, something weird happened last night: I found myself in a school, with all the kids roaring and yelling. I shouted "Scream all you want, this is only a dream!" and slapped a few kids over the head with a book and ran out of the classroom. Strange thing is: Looking back now, I w...

Why not? The idea is, like Hagart said, to plant the "I am dreaming"-notion into your subconscious. Whether you do that via RCs or by talking to DCs in another lucid dream shouldn´t matter, really.

Re: Having some difficulties...

9 lucid dreams in 2 months is not a bad record. Give yourself some credit. Thank you. I reckon it was not too hard for me to have them because I already had them as a child, so I knew it could be done. :) And mental blocks, that´s what I was thinking too! Because every time it happens, I´m thinking...

DC aka my subconscious seems to be annoyed...

Hi there, I read somewhere that you can ask DCs (in LDs) for a little help to become lucid in future dreams, simply by asking them to remind you in your next dream that you are actually dreaming. I decided to try that in my next LD. Here´s what happened: There was this boy, he was about ten years ol...
