Re: First Lucid Dream

Definitely normal my friend. I have deja-vu many times when I LD. Expect that alot! Try to learn from your experiences and try to practice as much as you can. I'm still trying to figure out mine but it seems to be a learning experience more than anything. Good luck!

Re: Seeking others who understand.

Yes, definitely stay grounded in this "reality" , but as you explore further into lucid dreaming you may find that it reflects reality and can help you figure things out along the way. I have had many circumstances where my dreams have sort of predicted the future or reflects what I need t...

Re: Do dreams have borders?

You have an interesting theory! Most everyone talks about our subconscious being responsible for such dreams, but even that hasn't been proven yet so you never know. I do like your idea and I will keep that in mind. Not sure if I like the idea of someone else being inside my head, but I have been go...

Re: Do dreams have borders?

Thank you for your thoughts philosopher, is this teacher our own subconscious? and littlecave it looks as though we both have something to learn here. I'm guessing there is a way to uncap our lucid dreaming if only we learn more about ourselves.

Re: Im New and I would Love Some Tips

Honestly, the first time I began to lucid dream I remember that before I would fall asleep I would think of practicing to fly and it worked. It's sort of like how they say to take a fresh look at your notes before you go to sleep so the next day it's fresh in your mind for your exam.

Re: Do dreams have borders?

I had some sort of revelation the other day after posting on here! Which to me is progress! I posted another thing about places revisited and realized there was always a challenge associated with these places and I became aware of my thoughts on this in my dream and thought to myself that these chal...

Re: Do dreams have borders?

Yeah it's a very strange thing, but I've had the same thing occur in dreams when I'm flying. Sometimes I try to go as high as I can go but I get blocked by some invisible barrier. Always wondered why I couldn't go to outer space!

Re: Places revisited

Good to know I'm not the only one!! Very interesting about it being a school structure, mine don't really seem to be included in a secure place just kind of random rooms connected by mazes of some sort or another. Thanks for the insight, the rooms do seem to represent the subconscious! It crazy that...

Places revisited

Once again I'm Ash and I'm new to this forum. I have many questions lol so bear with me. I have recurring dreams of places I've been to before. I become aware that I have been to these dream places before. Usually they are different and aren't as bright as they used to be. Does anyone experience thi...
