Re: My first stable lucid dream.

It's just practice. You need to really convince yourself that you have control. It's so embedded in our consciousness that we're out of control and in reality we usually are just passing through most places without interacting with them. It can be hard to break this habit but when you do, you'll be ...

Re: Dream Snacks

Awesome. I think I appreciate false awakenings more than lucid dreams. I've had so many realistic, amazing, fool proof false awakenings and I've had them where it happens 3,4,5 times in a row. It's truly amazing what the mind is capable of.

Re: Lucid Dreaming and Religion

After death realms? I would say that oblivion is better than rebirth or other such realms. But, I'm not completely sure about which one is true. I guess that's because I am a little bit religious. Oblivion would be better than rebirth in a realm where you have everything forever. How many years in ...

Re: Crazy dream from someone who doesnt really dream

I have this sometimes when drifting of to sleep, I believe it is sleep paralysis. It feels like my body is attached to a gyroscope and being spun back and forth, almost in a rocking-spinning motion. Sounds like a mix of that and a strange dream. I think you're okay though.

Most substances have a negative effect. Diphenhydramine, classic opiates, marijuana, caffeine, alcohol, etc. all impair your ability to effectively recall dreams. I've heard reports of vivid dreams by smoking a few leaves of coleus blumei, which is something I'd like to try. Mexican dream herb is of...

Re: The Shocking Truth

Nothing wrong with cherry picking the nicest parts of all the beliefs. Whether or not we believe that we are the prime, most important thing in the universe with the biggest ego or we are aware we are nothing, product of chaos and nature's natural tendency towards consumption of power and simply alo...

Re: Organic Food

I garden quite a bit, and everything I produce is done organically. Now I may be a little biased, but I think my food is the most delicious I've had so far!

Re: Lucid Dreaming and Religion

How could Robert Monroe describe 'after death realms' when he was ALIVE when he wrote about his experiences? Come on ... Isn't it obvious? All he needed to do was talk bullshit about "after death realms" and he has people saying his name all over the place. I'm sure it got him plen...
