My name is Angie, and I'm from sc. I've always had a deep interest in lucid dreaming, every since I had a rare "accidental" one about 8 years ago. I, unfortunately, spent only a few months reading about it, and making small attempts and eventually gave up. A few days ago a friend and I were discussing lucid dreaming, and I mentioned that I had and "accidental" once, and they suggested I try again. Now, older and more patient, I have spent the past few days being much more in-depth with learning, and I was surprised to find that the WILD technique is ACTUALLY how I fall asleep, something I have done since I was old enough to remember. (i have always had a hard time falling asleep for as long as i can remember) However instead of embracing and keeping my mind awake, i allow myself to just absorb into the images that I see until I fall asleep. My goal is to learn how to push past this, because I have managed to push slightly in the past, and recently, but because my mind has been so trained that its going to sleep - its difficult to stay awake. I will be using the "beginner" topic to be a little more in depth with my personal experiences in hopes to find somebody that can give advice or even has the same issues as myself.

I look forward to meeting everyone and discussing this topic!
