Quantum Physics

What is the difference between quantum physics and quantum mechanics? Are they synonyms? What would you expect to study on a college course called quantum physics? And in one called quantum mechanics?

I do not believe there is a difference. Quantum mechanics is just another term used to refer to quantum physics.

In quantum physics, you will most likely learn about the properties concerning the subatomic world and very likely to cover its mechanics and theory (how it could work and what is observable in experiments).

In a nutshell, the physics will identify the particles/waves/forces involved. The mechanics cover how they interact. They go hand in hand really...
