Wow, Thank you so much taniaaust1, I cannot begin to say how unbelievably grateful I am for your thoughtful and insightful response. This is what I needed to here, desperate times call for desperate measures but I really don't want to take the risk of making things worse. I didn't need to be persuaded either way but I needed that advice; that my fears have a reasoning to and that they are entirely possible, now with that knowledge I can weigh up whether I want to try Lucid Dreaming or not and for now at least I think that I should not try for a long while (until I'm in a much better place/after a lot of therapy etc) or even at all. That's not to say I don't have a deep interest in Lucid Dreaming, but I have enough common sense to try to protect what is left of my sanity Thanks again, you have been very, very helpful.
