Not seeing from your own eyes in dreams

Postby cheer_princess » 19 Jun 2014 00:29

When I try visualizing I have trouble seeing through my own eyes. I usually see myself, like I am someone else looking at me. I haven't analyzed my dreams enough to know and I haven't done much dream journaling but when I think about it, I might dream that way too. Does anyone else dream this way? and do you have to alter your lucid dreaming methods to fit this style of dreaming?

A lot of my non lucid dreams are 3rd person or not through my eyes, but I have never had a lucid dream that wasn't through my eyes so I wouldn't worry about it.

I dream this way often too, but I don't see that happening in a lucid dream since you have control over what's happening. Maybe at some point seeing things in the third person could be a lucidity trigger for you.
