My talks with family and friends about lucid dreaming

Postby dreamerinmiami » 23 May 2012 13:29

Ever since I started getting into lucid dreaming ive been talking alot about it to family and friends. latley my friends and family come to me and say whooaaaa i had a dream where i knew i was dreaming ever since youve been talking about it. one that stands out is my mom, she gets freaked out about these kind of things (anything like lucid dreams or other realms/dimensions, or getting stuck in the dreamworld. idk where she got that one). in her dream she said that she was in bed and knew she was dreaming and wanted to wake up. she says my dream character was there telling her to stay in the dream and that she was yelling no please let me wake up! ....... im happy that i probably have caused this but jealous that they didnt have to try as hard as i did to have a lucid dream lmao!

The same thing happened me! My friends came to school and were like guess what I had a lucid dream last night! But once I listen to their dreams I see that they didn't do anything after they realized they were dreaming - they just carried on with all the ups and downs of the dream and they probably lost lucidity through it, but oh well, at least they are aware of what lucid dreaming is!

Yes I think we should definetly help make it more well known! A few months this ago I delivered a speech (for English) about lucid dreaming to my class! :D

No sorry, unless you classify Auckland as a small town! :)

cool, it is compared to some other places. LD is getting some attention which is great. One of the students at my daughters school also presented to the class a few weeks back.

Cheers
