what happened to reflection, objectivity, healthy scepticism?

Postby willlem » 20 Sep 2012 12:39

I must admit, these naturally inducing, seeminlgy DMT related experiences I have had over the course of my entire life, had me wondering about it's true origins.

However, after a session of more or less serious thinking, I have come to the conclusion that it's all internal. Scientists and believers had trouble proving their beliefs, so i went out on a search of my own.

What makes us all have this seeminlgy similar astral projections/travels? How can we explain it?
Supernatural, extraterrestrial, otherworldly, ..? No, it's the observation of our eyes who are confronted to closed eyelids. What do you see when you are in the dark with closed eyes? Your lucid dreaming brain will have no problem to transcend this into an astral projection.

Don't give in to fairytales. Think, reflect, learn, discover.
Open your mind, don't close it.

Good advice, wil. I concur.

That fascinates me too. It's amazing just how SIMILAR a lot of our experiences are although, we haven't lived the same way or have the same beliefs or memories. It leads me to think that there is an archetype in our minds that comes from long in the past. Something we all share at the basis of our psyche.

p.s. What's a DMT?
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.

External DMT administration is believed to induce it.
Look it up.

Broaden your mind.

google the "spirit molecule" and see what you come up with. There is also a great audio book and paper book that is a very interesting read.
Who are you I asked, the reply "dont be silly, we are your daughers" many years before they were born

when reading this board i find people often confuse lucidity and reality with dreams

so much so that lucid dreaming is allowed to be considered a religious or sacred experience

some sound advice to you:

define 'lucid dreaming' and understand that is is, infact, just lucid dreaming.
