Sheer panic then lucidity

Postby Melasdesign » 28 Aug 2017 19:28

Does anyone else find that a lucid dream is set off by sheer panic in a dream? This is most often the case for me, and I'm beginning to recognize it in an attempt to calm those dreams down more quickly! It's almost like a defense mechanism that turns into lucidity. It's something that I think if I recognize, that I can bridle and experience less unpleasantness before the lucid fun, or lucid escape. Any thoughts?

Not by panic, more by sudden extreme fear, like coming face to face with a ghost.
