SP and tinnitus

Postby Tommybish86 » 31 Oct 2017 04:02

Hi all,

I had a few episodes of SP before I knew what it was and came across this site - was definitely feeling the vibrations in my ears and energy running through my head like is described before an obe experience. But it was so strong that my eardrums felt like they were going to burst and I woke up with a ringing in my ears the next day (tinnitus) that hasn’t gone away. Basically just wanted to know if anyone else has had the same experience or has any recommendations for what to do about the tinnitus.

Thanks!

I have had tinnitus 4 a very long time and every time I relax I can hear it I have no idea what it is but sometimes I think it's from Wi-Fi in the air I know the times I think it's from listening to music too loud since I was a kid but I don't listen to music too loud anymore and I haven't done that in years

Well, I've had tinnitus for as long as I can remember. For me, it's a constant ringing in my ears. I don't hear it if I'm focused, but when I'm alone and I don't hear much else or have something to focus on, it's really loud, almost deafening. When I get SP, the tinnitus generally goes away for that amount of time. Of course there are other sounds, but the ringing is gone. I also don't have it in my dreams. Don't know if it's the same for others.
