I'd known about what it was for quite some time, then a month or so ago, a friend linked it to me on facebook.

An article in a sci-fi/paranormal magazine that I found in my older brother's bedroom when I was 14. I think it was called UFO or Alien or something. They also had articles about remote viewing and Chupacabra :D

Wow, I wasn't expecting to see 4chan mentioned.

The earliest place I can remember hearing about lucid dreaming is from a news segment on the old ZDTV/TechTV television network. It may have been this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXOioAQESLI

Well I found it on a forum where funny or otherwise cool pictures were posted. Then someone posted a sheet of their diary where his life goals were. Like this

1. Finish school
2. Find a girl
3. Get laid
etc.

Some of them were actually funny but number 13 was to learn lucid dreaming. So I thought: "What the hell is that?" and then I searched it on the web and became fascinated by it.

"Saying 'I have 100$' is like saying 'I have 100 inches'. Inches of what? Ropes? Books? iPads? Money can be a means and a tool to get what you want. But remember, in a camping experience, money is only good for kindling and wiping your butt."
