This is Linus mouse. We rescued him. He was hit by a car as a very small kitten while running across a 4 lane highway. We saw this, pulled around in our car, and rushed him to a vet. He had a broken pelvis. Then after vet care, we nursed him for weeks until he could walk again. And so we acquired a kitten. Now he's ours and we love him.

You cannot use certain BB codes: [url]

can anyone tell me what Im doing wrong with trying to post a photo here. Thou I didnt want to use photobucket I ended up downloading to that thinking I could then copy the IMG code part to put a photo up.. but it then comes up with the quote I just put above so I cant post my post with the photo :(

I'll keep trying things to put a photo on but Im really screwing up my post trying and everything so far is failing cause I dont know how to do it
.................

My new fostered baby. Georgia has reallly put on weight since that photo was taken at the rescue site. Here's a photo I just took of her. She looks funny as she really needs a diet!!, she has like a large fat roll hanging from her belly (highly noticable) when she stands but can be seen in this photo too. She's so fat that she wont chase a ball or a fish on a string.

Amazingly thou she's fat, she's being a fussy eater and screwed her little black nose up at roast beef last night. . Then I tried giving her meat juices after I'd cooled them and skimmed the fat off.. and she decided she wont eat that either (she came with a bag of very very expensive dried cat food. $27 per 1.5kg (when I checked out the price for that brand). Well that cat food company do say on that brand that cats perfer it to anything else.. oh boy.

Im working with her trying to get her used to be picked up (she's very friendly loves pats and being brushed and she does little kisses with her tongue but she doesnt at all like being picked up and probably hence why she's been in foster care for past 5mths. Ive already got a scratch from picking her up).

I was going to try to get her to use a Kwitter and be trained to use a toilet to increase her chances of finding a permanent good home but seeing she dont like being picked up that's out of the question currently and thou surprisingly she's okay with a harness on (as long as she isnt on a lead!) she freaks out outside, so right now I cant teach her to meow at the door so I can take her outside on harrass and lead to go, so we are stuck with the litter box (for the time being). I'll get a second cat/kitten in a few months or earlier if this one gets a home.

When you post the reply you will see an option saying "Img", click that and you will get this(), Now in between the two[img] paste your picture's link, and done.

taniaaust1 you have a kind heart. Wish more people cared about the welfare of animals.
Hope you can upload a pic.
I went to upload attachment below
clicked in space for Filename
Then selected Browse ; that will take you to your files; at the bottom you can select where to browse then ( all files; or My Pictures etc). Then I clicked on the pic I wanted to select it; then at the bottom of your picture page from your file click OPEN; it'll take you back to this page; and the file will be placed in that filename blank.
Then clicked add the file; Wait; it can take a bit; it then comes up with a message that says too big; so I go back to the pic file, select again through all the step, but then click on edit to change the pic size. Computers drive me crazy! Good luck!
Here's Linus again ( I did another so I could remember the steps involved for you here). So then you'll see the File Comment blank; click in the blank; then click Place Inline ( which is below it); then wait; it takes a bit sometimes before things upload. ( same with when it's uploading your pic; wait; if it's not working, you'll get a message).

ah thanks to both of you for the instructions... Im not very computer literate :) (now I just got to see how I go with following those instructions). Thanks deepakkumaar97 for posting the photo I was trying to post of Georgia.. the fat cat.

She was apparently a very pampered puss until her last owner got a boyfriend and suddenly decided she no longer then wanted her.

Shame on that owner. If they are yours; you are responsible for their welfare and happiness for their lives; anyone who doesn't want to take that on should not get a pet. I hate when people treat pets like used Kleenex; easy to throw away.

I'm so sorry for not posting in this thread for such a long while! I've been really busy with graduating...

Anyway, all the pets posted are beautiful! Seems like many people on here are cat owners :) I had a dream tonight about one of our cats having four cute kittens, I was kinda disappointed when I woke up... :P

"'Disposable"?; that sounds horrible. Don't want details.
