Stuck in an LD for 2 weeks

Postby Worldenterer1 » 10 Oct 2011 03:01

A friend once told me that he was stuck in a lucid dream for two weeks. When he finally woke up, he kissed the floor, hugged his family members, and ran outside yelling "I'm awake!"

Highly dubious...
"Empty cognizance of one taste, suffused with knowing, is your unmistaken nature, the uncontrived original state. when not altering what is, allow it to be as it is, and the awakened state is right now spontaneously present."

Freaky

Was this individual actually asleep for two weeks or was it a night that felt like two weeks?

Perception can definitely be skewed... I've heard stories of people living an entire lifetime out in the non-physical. So I dunno.

In any case, I suggest not taking anything you read or hear at face value... just hold onto it for the time being and file it in the "maybe, but interesting" category until you can analyze it better.

At times I have seen him lie, but at others, he has been my most trustworty friend. I don't know if he is telling the truth or not.

Whoa, sounds cool. Maybe it sounds a little bit weird, but who knows? :)

Haha I've been stuck in a false awakening for a long time. When I woke up I found out I was still dreaming

My friend said that it was alot like in the movie Inception. It was amazing to feel like a God for the first few days. Howerver, you begin to question yourself. He even thought he may have died and was in some sort of afterlife.

Well ya know what? Don't believe or disbelieve him...
Just put it aside for the time being and try to work towards having your own experiences in an effort to prove or disprove to yourself. :)

Always best to go into this kind of stuff with an open, yet skeptical mind. :)
