A talk with a dream girlfriend

What have you learned from your dream characters? What do they say, what do they represent, what motivates them, why do they exist?

A talk with a dream girlfriend

Postby Highlander » 01 Aug 2013 14:27

Today I had an interesting conversation with a woman.

I'm in a street. The woman on the other side of the street is looking at me. We know we are very close friends, maybe in a relationship or even married (but i only know this inside the dream, because i do not know who she is in the waking life). She is beautiful. Short height, brunette, green eyes, her face kinda looks like actress Zooey Deschanel.
We hug. We start talking a bit while walking and i become lucid. I decide to talk about dreams.
Me-"Can I ask you a question?"
Woman-"You can."
Me-"Did you know that this is all a dream? You are dreaming too."
Woman-"Really?"
I notice that she becomes a little disappointed to hear that.
Me-"Yes, you know why? Give me your hand. Count your fingers. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. You have 6 fingers. See?"
She is not very surprised.
Me-"Another question. We know each other..." (here I notice that she is a bit disappointed to hear the word "know) "... ahm... we like ..." (same expression) "... we love ..." (she becomes happier) "... and we usually meet in the dream. But sometimes I wake up in the middle of the dream. When this happens I disappear and i'm no longer by your side. Did you never find this strange?"
Woman-"No, i understand. Notice the different cultures around the world. There are countries where when a woman is with a man and he disappears, she stays faithful and waits for his return. There are other countries that do not."
After we talk a little more, we agree to meet more often in future dreams.

This is not the first time that i dream with a woman that i know is my girlfriend or wife. In each dream, the dream character has always a different appearance but in all of the dreams i know we met a long time ago. In waking life I've never seen her, nor am i in a relationship. Well, it looks like i'm in a relationship only in dreams.

I've never had a lucid dream girlfriend before.
One time about 3 years ago, I never wrote it down, but I still remember, I fell in love with a girl in a non-lucid dream. It goes beyond any sexual desire and you find someone who is like a kindred spirit, your soul mate if you will.

Us hopeless romantics tend to find them in dreams and they are almost too perfect. I hope you and I find our soul mates in real life.

(Actually, I don't know if you're single or married in real life. Was this a dream-affair?)
Dreams are like Vegas though. Whatever happens in a dream stays in a dream!

P.S. Zooey Deschanel is hot, and I'm a brunette guy myself. Blonds are highly overrated!
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.

It's true what you said about this being beyond sexual desires. When i'm with her, i don't think about sex. It just feels good being with her, to talk, and stuff...
Answering your question, i'm single, so... i'm not cheating anyone. :p

I used to have dreams about Deforest Kelley. Sometimes we'd just talk, sometimes he'd be my doctor, sometimes he'd be like my guardian angel. My favorite, however, is when we had sex, but it never went beyond foreplay. He seemed so understanding, that he knew that I was afraid of going "all the way". I kind of felt bad sometimes, because I couldn't give him what he wanted. Even though he didn't come out and say it, I knew he was saying, "It's all right. It's all for you."

In one dream, he healed me of a condition I had called endometriosis, by putting his hand on my stomach. After that, he crawled into bed with me, putting his arms around me. He looked the same way he did on the show.

He made me feel good and wanted, like I was really beautiful, which I'm not.

I struggle with a low self esteem too. Don't say that.

I happen to love your posts about sexuality and wish I could do the same. 90% of my lucid dreams are sexual. I don't think it should be swept under the rug anymore, but it's hard to admit isn't it.

So I want to say one thing. You are so brave and I respect you, Nickfan40.
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.

Thanks! You just made my day! So did Dr. McCoy/Deforest Kelley when they "visited" me!

There was one dream that I gave him something that he wanted, though, but I can't post that dream here, because it's too graphic: I gave him oral sex! He seemed to be enjoying it, and I enjoyed "giving it". I didn't taste anything, or start gagging, though. Would you like me to PM you about the really graphic, "NC-17" ones?
