There's no overnight secret!

If you do pick up lucid dreaming overnight (and some people do) then it's because they've been unknowingly performing techniques that already prime them for it. The smallest tip then can push them over the edge.

You will need to practice techniques, like dream recall, like increasing your self awareness, and so on, regularly and over time, before you will have frequent lucid dreams.

The website teaches all about it -- try the beginner section.

No one can tell another exactly what to do every day as we are all different with this eg one person may need to work on dream recall while another person may not need to do.
The only thing to fear is the fear itself

Why are you telling me this now!!! :) Well at least this explains why after a year and a half I haven't found it.

In all seriousness, it does take time, and quite a bit of effort for most people. You really have to make a commitment to be patient and put in the required time and effort. You also have to make a commitment to learn the techniques and not give up after failure. Everything you need as far as techniques is well documented and provided in the links above. You should give it 3-6 months, that's what it took me.
Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real? What if you were unable to wake from that dream? How would you know the difference between the dream world and the real world? Morpheus
