Chest byrning up when flying.

Postby charmingamy » 17 Jan 2014 03:05

Last night something really weird happened to me. I had 2 ld's. In both i tried to fly since i have not mastered flying yet. Both times the higher i get the hotter my chest gets to the point that it gets unbearable and I stop flying. Anyone ever experienced this.

No it hasn't, but it never ceases to amaze me, the infinite number of crazy sensations and experience we can get in lucid dreams.
If we all lucid dreamed this world would be a better place.

No, never had that happen before. Maybe it's some sort of mental block. Or maybe your brain thinks you should be getting the sensation of friction as you fly? Hmm...

you could try mentally creating yourself a flight suit with a cooling system in the chest to stop it? ;)

I read that sleep paralysis is the reason for burning sensations in ld's. It could also be your heart beat increasing because of your altitude. Try putting on a parachute before flying :)

TC, if I were in your place, I'd use the sensation to my advantage; I'd personally use it as a convincing cause to TF.
