What do people see during sleep paralysis?

Postby Kaylium » 24 Jan 2014 22:52

When I look it up, everyone always says how scary it is, but they never really say what they're seeing. Some said that they saw shadow "figures", but to be honest that doesn't sound very frightening..

its more startled than frightened as images can appear right in your face and they are a little scary.
Who are you I asked, the reply "dont be silly, we are your daughers" many years before they were born

It will vary for different people. And seeing a shadow figure poking his head around your bedroom door is pretty unnerving, take it from me!

I see my body laying there. I haven't really seen this dark figure, but I can feel that something isn't quite right. But then the feeling passes and it's kind of a cool experience.

I mostly hear sounds. Steps most of the times.
This weekend i heard steps in my room. When i got out of SP and entered the dream via WILD, i saw Gollum running around in my room.

I've heard of people feeling an evil presence right outside their FOV. Also, people see crearurs sitting on your chest making it hard to breath. I personally think it'll be very scary...

He acknowledged me. Maybe he wanted to play with me. But i wasn't up for it. He startled me a bit and i had other tasks in mind. So i said to him "Get the hell outta here!" Then he ran away.
