lets say if your dreaming and you don't know your dreaming but your controlling it?
is that considered to be lucid dreaming?

When you become lucid your mind expands, the world around you become's open and more vivid, you should be consciously awake at this point so you should know you are dreaming. Like you should be able to talk to yourself or other people around you at will, so unfortunately no this is not lucid dreaming.

You have to know that you're dreaming to be considered lucid dreaming.
