Lucid Dream Problem...

Postby Finch_Linus » 17 Sep 2014 06:55

I've had four Lucid Dreams.

1 was induced by the fact that I remembered I had just gone to sleep.
1 was induced by the fact I realised the situation was abnormal.
2 were induced by DC telling me that I was in a dream/conversation involving dreaming.

However, every time I realise that I am dreaming, I rub my hands together which works for about 2 seconds, then I awake. It's not because I'm overly excited, in fact I'm really quite calm and focussed on making the dream clear. How can I stop the dreams from fading as I realise that I am dreaming?

In summary, what methods are available to stop myself waking upon my knowing that I am awake?

Sometimes I find running around and doing stuff helps prolong it, but this also gets you excited so you gotta balance it.
