Has anyone been a monster

Postby Celisa » 30 Oct 2014 03:01

Hey out there! I've been so excited to find this site! My curiosities are many but has anybody else turned into a monster on purpose (because you realized you were dreaming) ? The purpose was to avoid a threat in that dream- in that dream there was a group out hunting and I needed to get away , instead of running I turned into a bubble covered monster who's skin was too thick for ammo to get thru.

Goodbye forever...
I dare you Summer and Deschain, to find where I am hiding, and try to attack.

lol @ old traveller.

No I havent tried this but it sounds fun. A great halloween LD theme too.. change into a monster and terrify all the DCs in the dream.

You know, it didn't occur to me at the time I read
your question but years ago I twice had an experience
where I dreamed something evil was in my room. At first
it frightened me but then I pulled myself together and decided
I was having NONE of this. I put myself into an angry state
of mind. I summoned up all the hate and vengeance I could
muster and went after the dark thing in my room. I hate to say
it but summoning this stuff up actually felt good. Whatever this
thing was in my room, I went for it teeth barred and growling
like a vicious attack dog. Then I woke up.
It is amazing what capacities we have inside if needed.

Too bad you didn't destroy them, now that's a satisfying experience. ;)
Is Lucid Dreaming the brains preparation for the next step of human evolution when we can escape the corporeal bond of our bodies?
