 I absolutely hate when that happens and I empathize.

Yeah, I agree. He rejected my civil, private invitation. Now he should be forced! :D

This is now the true dilemma. I just lit a cigar and put on a trenchcoat. Columbo is on the case. Now it's the mystery of why Summerlander won't join a free, damn easy to use, Skype chat, that only uses instant messaging which is no different than here. You can post anything you want! No holds barred!

He is a vocal person, that we can establish. (Puffs cigar), so he has no problem with that. Now I question his fears. What is it that stops this individual?

Lol! Nothing stops me, really. I just seem to have busy life. When I work, the hours are not very sociable. Then, I'm with my family (wife, three kids). And I like to read a lot and occasionally produce art. I'm also writing a book about my experiences with lucid dreaming. (I haven't done this in a while now.) But one of these days I'll join. ;-)

About Traz. I was thinking about my wife using the account but I don't think she will now. She's got her own hobbies. So we'll let Peter decide Enra Traz's fate. :-)

Fair enough about the fate of Traz, your mask. What ever happens happens. Let others decide and deal with it.

But I am still Columbo... and I have a naive question. Forgive me for my ignorance. I am just a stupid old man with a disheveled hair cut. I am Peter Falk, and I just have a simple question if you don't mind. If you have time to spend on this forum, masquerading as other people, certainly you have time to join Skype and just make an account and talk whenever you wish. Skype takes less effort and less worry.

That confuses me. But what do I know? I just rub my head and walk away..... I'm just a confused Peter Falk afterall....

(THAT WAS SARCASTIC BY THE WAY)

I had to suffer in this thread. I had to like, learn new words and stuff!

Bah, I'd rather go back to Skype with everyone else. Who needs Summerlander?

(Obvious Reverse Psychology!) :P

I also realize that my punishment for him to join Skype and talk nonsense with me about lucid dreaming is cruel and unusual. Nobody deserves that punishment.

Goodbye, friends.

It's time for me to return to 2212. I had asked Summerlander to pretend he was me because I had some strange agents from some parallel universe after me. I'm sure Summerlander will return to answer your questions, Mr Falk. See you around someday... maybe...

Summerlander is just as elusive, Enra Traz. Let him know I told him that.

I feel comfortable talking to you Enra. I still don't understand why Summerlander has time to be on this forum, sometimes writing epically long posts, and yet doesn't have time to join Skype. Spending time with his family, I agree is most important, but it's no excuse, since he certainly has time to waste here. This forum and Skype are basically the same thing. You can go days or even months without typing something there, just like here. So what do you think his problem is, Enra?

He must fear intimacy or something. I don't know. That's just between you an me, Enra. I don't want to tell Summerlander these things to his face.

Lol. The simplest and most brusque answer is usually the correct one (soft thinking, of course). I was thinking he probably just doesn't like us, but that makes little sense because he interacts with us on the forum--why would he interact on the forum if he doesn't like us? Simply so that he has meat to intellectually-batter and dummies upon which to practice his rhetorical martial arts? Perhaps...

It's a mystery. ;)

(Wow. This is a remarkably strident post. *shrugs* I'll post it anyway.)

I'm just picturing that one scene from Star Wars...

Lol! Guys, of course I love to socialise with you and don't see you two (in particular) :-D as dummies at all! In fact I believe there is always room for education for everyone, even the great luminaries, and I am far from being one. I guess I'm comfortable posting here due to an amalgamation of my redactional and purist side. I could give you a terse and slightly dishonest answer by saying it's my style but I have always suspected myself of being a little OCD. (Since I learned the meaning of the term :-P )

But if you guys insist, I'll join. What does it entail? How do I join? I am actually not computer savvy (more of a book type). I could ask my wife but she is busy watching the Royal Variety Performance. So I must ask my superiors about this. Give me instructions to follow. (Bear in mind I only have a phone at the mo.)

Oh yeah... multitasking with a phone and a laptop to pull your leg does not make me an expert. ;-)

It's okay, Summerlander. You can tell them I'm a real time traveller now. I've managed to circumvent those extra-dimentional men-in-black and will leave this epoch tonight.

So, I'm raising a toast to you, guys! And to the future...

Emmett, no!!!! ;-) :-D
