Well I was born with creativity(at least that's what people say). When I want new ideas I write the ones I have and new ones hit me.

I used to write poetry. Nowdays I like to paint when I get a creative streak. I love to paint my dreams. I also like to take photos of my gnomes and plants and orbs in the garden or house.

I also like to write out my dreams as in depth as possible, not just narating the events of the dream but how I felt, I try to describe just what it was that I experienced.

dreamerinmiami,
I am just a novice artist, however, if I make some effort to draw unusual images from dreams, or to sketch random objects or abstract themes, spontaneous ideas often arise in my mind. If I play around with colors, this seems to trigger artistic emotional associations.

I've had a long term interest in Native American arts and crafts. I've recently become intrigued by the traditional arts of certain Pacific Northwestern Indian cultures.

- Google - "Images for Tlingit Indian Art - in museum collections".

Many of these art works express a close relationship with animals in the environment, and also portray a belief that all beings and things possess dynamic life force. The shamans wore very imaginative ritual masks.

If I deep meditate for around 30 minutes my creativity is awesome! :)
