Lucid Dream normally so easy?

Postby Sir_Serix » 02 Mar 2012 18:02

Ok,today I will tell you my first LD.
At that time I was trying WILD technique (I'm still trying, but I never get to stay fully conscious)
So,one night,I put accidentaly my alarm clock,waking so up at 4 a.m.
As soon as I turned the mobile off (40 secs or so) I went to sleep and suddenly I appeared on a meadow, fully conscious. So,tell me,is it usually that easy or it was beginners luck?
Hope you'll help me

Well it might have been luck. When I was younger, I would lucid dream randomly.

If this does not happen the next night and so on, then it might have just been coincidental ^^

Sounds like a mixture of luck and the WBTB method that you accidentally initiated. The fact that you woke up then went back to sleep in the early morning almost certainly created your LD. Most people underestimate just how effective this method is, you're almost guaranteed to have some level of lucidity.

Thanks for the info,I'll try to use WBTB more often.I'll post the dream if I have one (if it's interesting)
The real problem now will be to fell like putting the alarm clock
