daydreaming about lucid dreaming?

Postby DreamSailing » 11 Mar 2012 20:16

hi i have been reading a lot about lucid dreaming, and i am very interested in it. i also daydream a lot too though. is daydreaming about lucid dreaming a good idea? i sometimes daydream about what i would like to experience in a lucid dream, while imagining i am in a lucid dream. i hear that visualizing what you want can help you be successful, will this help?
Reality is a lovely place, but i wouldn't want to live there

It's perfectly fine! In fact, it's actually a method for inducing a lucid dream/astral projection.

I call it a mental rundown... I'll provide some links for you regarding it:

It's all about "imagining" a scenario and playing it through your mind... while focusing entirely upon the scene you're creating, you'll eventually "slip into" the scene. At which point you're now projecting.

Some would also call this the initiation of a WILD. :)
