Not sure really, looking for stuff on the net about lucid dreaming and some how I ended up here.

As far as I'm aware I've only had one lucid dream, last year. But I'm reckoning that means it can't be far off though? The problem I had was that I got so excited when I realised I was dreaming that I woke myself up! Trying the mnemonic induction technique and have been for the last week along with trying help my dream recall, but no real results yet.

That's extremely common. It ought to be -- it's amazing to wake up inside of a dream. It's like waking up in a different world.

Cool. Keeping a dream journal and increasing your recall is one of the most important first steps.
