Hypnogogia

Postby WildCat23 » 16 Jun 2012 03:16

So I was doing MILD the other night, and my hypnogogia usually consists of shapeless blobs of color which eventually become blurry objects. The other night, I was visualizing my dream for MILD, and everything started to actually be able to focus on. Things actually looked real. Then, my room started appearing. It started to come into focus. I woke myself up before anything weird happened. Has this ever happened to anyone before? Cause the beginning part happened again last night.

Thanks,
Matt

Thats usually how I do WILDS, or at least how I think I WILDS... some kind of method that is similar. I have had a few dreams that start off in my room as well, you should have kept it going! I mean think about no one in the world has really gone insane or whatever from playing around in dreams, it would be pretty improbable that you would be the first, thats what usually gets me through mushroom trips and other strange trips.

Yup, that's effectively a WILD (or Phasing as I know it).
Stick with it, you're doing great!

Whoa, didn't realize that was the way to a WILD. If I had continued, would it have gone to sleep paralysis?

If you'd continued then yes, but you'd be well into the dream, so probably wouldn't feel it's effects UNLESS you forced yourself awake.

Happened again last night. Next time it happens I'm just gonna screw my fears and go for it.
