You are correct, 1x0 is 0. Now add 1. The simple trick works on a lot of people.

Right, right. Order of Operations. PEMDAS, I remember now. It's been awhile, though. I haven't taken simple math lessons for what... 35 years? No, just kidding. I'm not that old :ugeek:

yeah im in high school so im taught PEMDAS like every day.
How do you define real ?

High school? I believe I learned that in like 5th grade... Hmm, maybe not. I don't really remember.

well yeah, im pretty sure i learned it in 5th or 6th grade. but in my high school they go with the "cram repetitive information down our throats" oproach to learning :mrgreen:

Haha, yeah, I hate that. It seems pointless though. You forget 90-95% of things you learn in school, says a scientific study. ...What was this thread about again? :lol:
