Hemi Sync Review: MetaMusic Meditation CDs with Binaural Beats

Hemi Sync is world famous for its binaural beats meditation CDs. It was created by the legendary out of body explorer, Dr Robert Monroe, and his team at The Monroe Institute. The technology is scientifically-based and clinically proven.

Sometimes, I can even slip directly into a lucid dream.

Each MetaMusic meditation CD is unique. Between Worlds features sounds of the rainforest which guide me on an inner journey to my favorite visualization spot. You hear haunting instruments like the didgeridoo, flutes, mbira and indigenous chants. In isolation, the binaural beats occur as white noise but overlaid with music you will hardly notice the brainwave entrainment tones.

My favorite of all Hemi Sync meditation CDs is probably Inner Journey (left). It features ethereal sounds which create a deeply relaxing melody to relieve stress, free my imagination and expand awareness. I like Inner Journey best because it has a real cosmic feel to it - like I'm traveling through the universe and into other dimensions.

I have about a dozen of these binaural beats recordings. Each offers a different mood and set of visualizations. Another favorite of mine is called Gaia - a flute and guitar blend overlaying sounds of water. The Gaia CD is said to stimulate imagination and creativity and has given me some very cool visualizations.
