How I Built A Profitable Website

(And How You Can Too!)

How Do You Make Money with Your Website?

Later in the Action Guide, Site Build It showed me how to make money from my website. This included:

Google AdSense - many SBI users benefit from Google's text adverts. It's really easy to implement and generates income automatically thereafter. I started out using AdSense, but found it more profitable to link directly to affiliate partners.

Affiliate Programs - I spend a lot of time finding good lucid dreaming products (like books, CDs and MP3s, dream herbs, essential oils, posters and others). Once I find something to benefit my readers, I sign up with an online merchant. When people click on my unique affiliate link, I gain a commission from the sale. Commission rates vary between 5% and 75% depending on the product.

E-books - I recently launched my first e-book anthology, Lucid Fiction, in which I collaborated with other authors to create 12 short stories on the theme of lucid dreams and alternate realities. With systems like PayPal and ClickBank, it's easy to offer your own digital products that deliver passive income for life.

Donations - this gives my readers a way to say thank you for the free content. My average donation is US$10 and I'm very grateful for this kind of support.

Can Anyone Build a Profitable Website?

Anyone with brains and motivation (BAM) can build a website with Site Build It.
