Re: Did I fuck up big-time?

Hi Dizzy As a 54 year old parent of twins I will only say that parenting is a difficult task. Sometimes we do what we think is the best for our child but go about it in the wrong way. I can't comment on the actions of your Mum because I don't have enough information and I am a stranger on an interne...

Re: trapped on my LD

Hi Lia Sounds like a fairly normal LD. You were able to manage the conflicts within your dream and handle the circumstances that occurred in the dream...which is not 'being trapped'. What you don't say is whether the dream mirrors any conflict in your relationships (with any real life boyfriends) yo...

Re: Help? Want to stop lucid dreams

Don't worry, perfectly normal. You have stumbled upon lucid dreaming (just like me 18 years ago now). First thing is to understand that your physical and mental wellbeing are not at risk. It feels like it, at this early stage, because the experience is so utterly new (mind blowing?). Approach this n...

Re: Help explain this !!!

Sounds like you were bouncing from a lucid dream into a 'hypnogogic state' and back into a lucid dream again. Happens to me especially if I am sleep deprived for a few days. At first it can be confusing and a little scary. Sometimes you bounce back into the same lucid dream, sometimes the dream is a...

Re: Strange sensations.

Hi Lestra Sounds like the start to my lucid dreams. I float off the bed or more literally, pour off the bed. Then I am stood in my bedroom ready to enter my lucid dream. I am certainly no 'expert' but you don't mention your thoughts while you have this floating experience. Perhaps your consciousness...

Re: Never happened before....what's going on?

Thanks Lucide. However, up to only a few weeks ago, when I joined this site, I had never heard of WILD or MILD and have certainly never practised these techniques. If I am using them it is purely by chance/accident. I started lucid dreaming 18 years ago, I didn't know it was even called 'lucid dream...

Never happened before....what's going on?

I am 54 and have been Lucid dreaming for 18 years. Every single lucid dream has begun the same way. I wake up into what I understand would be a hypnagogic state, get a buzzy, dizzy, floating sensation and in slow motion, pour off the bed! I can then walk, float or fly out of the room into the dream....

Flying high, help appreciated

Hi All I have been Lucid Dreaming now for 18 years and for some years have had a problem with gaining height. Many years ago I could zoom around like some whacky humanoid jet plane to any height but the nearer I got to the cloud base, I would get this visceral fear. And it was a 'cloud base', thick ...

Re: Teaching characters in my dreams to fly

Hi Tororo. Having aware dreams as a child is fantastic. Typically people who had this gift have a much easier time lucid dreaming as adults. Do you use any techniques to become lucid or does it just happen naturally? Hi Sean No I don't use any techniques, originally thought I was a bit weird and am...
