Re: Can lucid dreams be used to cure mental illnesses and heal a damaged psyche?

If I may offer my two cents... I actually had a mental illness and it would cause me to go into delusional insane ramblings on various topics when I was in the manic state, but I followed the track of thoughts and am able to describe my experiences in great detail. When I was 17 (I'm 30 now) I start...

Re: Existential Rant Place

I sometimes these days feel like there is no point to doing anything at all and that we might as well all things considered, do the absolute minimal amount of work and be lazy and sleep and dream all the time. However, I know that over time if I do this, I get worn out, upset with myself for wasting...

Re: How to avoid falling asleep in a dream?

So what it looks like I should do is remain active, talk to myself, and have some goals. I have met a lot of goals in a serendipitous fashion such as experiencing unconditional love. It amazes me while browsing this site how far people have come to forming a rapport with the dream world and reaching...

Re: Is it possible to Lucid Dream 80% or more of the time?

Re: Experienced Lucid Dreamer

This does seem to be a forum that lays low, but there is so much good information in the previous posts. I'm new too! I hope you decide to give it a chance.

Re: Hello, I'm Velo!

Hey Velo! I'm new here too. I am a natural lucid dreamer. It just happened one day and has been growing ever since. I normally don't try any outside intervention or forcing, but I am going to change that. After finding out all the ways in which we could benefit from lucid dreaming...

Re: Organic Food

Lutopia!!! This idea is something similar to an idea I had years ago, but not quite the same. Immersive simulations would be fantastic for the future. Sorry to butt in like this with my post, since I haven't fully been catching the drift of the current conversation. I couldn't help making the connec...

Re: Organic Food

I look forward to the advent of lab grown meats, but it would really have to be a massive chemical process for it to become cheaper than traditional animal grown meat. I would imagine that the well established meat farms will lobby to preserve their businesses. There are many other reasons forests a...
