Re: Using dream location to become lucid. "Dream Hub"

This sounds really cool and it might work for some people, but I don't think it's the best method out there. Staring at a picture isn't necessarily going to make it appear in every dream, and putting something like that in your mind will take a lot of time and patience. It really could work, but it ...

Having a bit of a dry spell right now. Any help?

So, the dreams I remember are now often more fuzzy and short, reality checks are not appearing, haven't become lucid in at least a month, and I find it harder to meditate and relax now. The only thing that seems to have remained the same is my dream recall. Is this normal and it will go away eventua...

Re: Walking through walls!

That's what I do in all my lucid dreams. I always have OBEs, so every time that happens I just phase through the window instead of going through the door.

It's a lot of fun, and it feels neat.

Re: Could you guys give specific advice for my WILD?

WILD has been my most successful technique by far. 7/8 of my lucid dreams were induced using WILD. The first thing I would suggest, is you should start waking up in the middle of the night to perform WILD. By then, you'll be very tired and it should be much easier for your body to be at rest. If you...

Re: Prolonging a Lucid Dream

Yes, in my last LD, (a few days ago) I did try spinning, and it did actually help.

This could be the gateway to longer lucid dreams for me! So thanks, and good luck on your lucid dreaming quest as well. :)

Re: Reality checks happening but not going lucid

Yeah, the same thing happens to me most of the time when I do reality checks in dreams. I remember to do them, but they don't work and nothing happens. I only succeeded once in that. That's why DILDs are quite difficult for me. If you say your RCs just aren't working, then that means you need to put...

Re: Prolonging a Lucid Dream

I never get signs when I'm about to wake up from a lucid dream. I just do. And it's ALWAYS from over-excitement. I can sometimes go back to them, but they aren't as vivid as they were when I first entered the dream. And I usually lack control the second time. Thanks for the idea about the spinning t...

Re: GUUUUUUYS I DID IT!!!!!

It took me some time to have my second, about a month later. Mostly because I was focused on other things instead of lucid dreaming. After my second however, they started happening a lot more frequently. So yeah, it depends on how hard you work and how badly you want it. The more motivated you are, ...

Re: Most confusing dream of my life

I think I'm just gonna count it as 1 LD.

That's now 7! 3 more until my 10th lucid dream!

Re: GUUUUUUYS I DID IT!!!!!

Great job and congratulations on your first lucid dream! It took me 3 months to have my first, so you're definitely not alone. I struggled just as bad as you did, maybe even worse. But I learned that if you stick with it, it WILL happen one day. Even if it takes forever. And yes, I think you will ha...
