Re: sleep deprivation due to waking ups after dreaming
Oh gosh. Yes, this happens to me. This happens A LOT! I find myself waking up about a dozen times or so EVERY night. Even before I knew about lucid dreaming. I used to take sleeping pills. I've tried just about everything, it works for a few days, then I just start waking up again all the time. It g...

I have trouble sleeping, I dream a lot.
Hey, I have trouble sleeping, I wake up a LOT. Sometimes I awaken fully every hour on the hour(clock checks) for sometimes upto 5 hours in a row. Other times I just start to awake, realize i've awoken, moan, roll over and go back to sleep. During these awakenings I'm usually dreaming before I awake(...

Re: What did you dream from your surroundings?
That makes sense as well. Perhaps as in my dream of vacuuming I heard the vacuum being pulled out, or heard someone say vacuum(it just didn't register in my dream) so I started dreaming I was vacuuming. Or in yours with the pipe, perhaps there is a subtle noise before the clang, or pressure or somet...

Re: What did you dream from your surroundings?
The weirdest part about this is how my brain predicted the clink and created a scene leading up to the sound. Very bizarre! This i've wondered myself, as in the vacuuming one I was already holding the vacuum when I heard it turn on. The only thing I can think, is that as soon as you hear the sound ...

What did you dream from your surroundings?
I'm new so maybe there has been a post of this before, but I didn't see one. We all know we can incorporate sounds from the outside into our dreams. (raining, etc) What I wonder, is what kind of crazy dreams you've had from noise from your surroundings. 1. The earliest I remember I was about 10. I w...

Re: Sleep Paralysis Shadow Monster: Friend or Foe?
Hi, I'm new to this whole thing, but I think I may know what you mean. My experiences aren't so vivid/detailed, but I was never aware of lucid dreaming until yesterday. One of the first I remember was absolutely dreadful! I had somehow fallen asleep with my eyes partly open. Cracked just enough to s...

Re: Psychic dreams- proof that they are real?
I am an avid believer in the paranormal. I was not always this way though. I am very scientific, I need proof, and facts. But after seeing my fiancé do what she can do(clairvoyant), I must say i'm a firm believer! (She's mostly precog, and no way they were educated guesses) Anyhow, I've had many a d...
