Personally, I'm jealous!
Times I've been lucid? Five
Times I've been able to change the scene with sheer willpower? ZERO.
You are off to a good start!

Stuck in fuzzy-land!
Well, I am definitely making progress. I've gotten lucid about 4 or 5 times, now, and I feel like I can get there pretty regularly (if not often) now. Last one was quite long and stable (as far as staying asleep and remaining aware that I'm dreaming). Now my problem is going any further than just th...

Doesn't work for me either, yet. I'll keep trying anyway though.

Re: pet induced lucid dream
Maybe if she asks you in plain english to let her out one night.
That oughta do it.
Seriously though, she's just waking you up. I don't see how that can help really, except giving you a WBTB opportunity.

Re: Does practicing REALITY CHECKS really work?
I agree, I don't think the reality check in itself will tell you you're dreaming. Imo, it is just a way to set a habitual mindset. The waking reality checks are simply getting you into the habit of always questioning your wakefulness, then you question it in your dreams too..like you said, this happ...

Re: Reality check problem
I think the effectiveness of the reality check is how you think about it, not what you do. In my opinion (and limited experience), the reality check should not be a time when you ask yourself if you are dreaming, but rather, a time when you question whether you are really awake. It sounds like the s...

Re: Is the universe made of information?
I don't think he tries to pass it off as science. He just shows how most of our current mysteries of physics would be nicely explained by this same theory that explains many mysteries of metaphysics. It is of course, just a theory, I don't see it as a fantastic claim. It's no more fantastic than any...

Re: Is the universe made of information?
Should watch Tom Campbell's videos on YouTube. He wrote a comprehesive book on this: My Big TOE (TOE=Theory of Everything). He is a physicist and consciousness expert, his theory states that consciousness is all there is. It is a self-aware information-system, and evolving by lowering its entropy (r...
