Re: might this be in the far future possible?

I've actually heard that by the 2030s and 40s we will have technology that can create virtual realities that are indistinguishable from our reality. it's kinda freaky to think about, but i feel like it's definitely possible

Re: Switching the lights off and other exercises

I've tried flying before. I could only do it one time, but when I did it was incredible. In fact, it was so incredible that the excitement knocked me out of lucidity pretty quickly. I've also tried looking in a mirror one time, but it was weird. I was in my bathroom, focusing on the details of my ha...

Re: I've discovered a new technique, I call it RILD.

If you're having the lucid dreams after the roosters wake you up and you go back to sleep, then it sounds like you're doing the Wake Back To Bed (WBTB) technique. You should read about it if you haven't, and yeah, it's one of the most effective techniques I've used so far.

I don't really know, but I doubt it would. I've at least never heard from anyone else that being left handed would effect LDs

Re: HELP please!

It really is something that you just have to keep practicing. As a beginner, the main thing you're trying to do is make the act of questioning your reality and remembering your dreams a habit. Making something into a habit takes some time, so just try to stay patient.

Re: How close i was

Sounds like you're getting pretty close! I would say in the future to try a simpler reality check than making the energy ball, like pushing your hand through something. Also, I've found that looking at something in particular (palms of your hands, the bus in your dream, etc.) and studying it for a s...

Re: Insidious?

I personally don't fully buy into the concept of actually "leaving the body," but at the same time there's no way to really disprove it. I just think that how people interpret and are effected by their dreams has a lot to do with their beliefs. Who knows? Maybe it's possible to become so c...

Re: Just started and i have some questions

i've been trying to have lucid dreams for a few months now, mostly to no avail, until recently. in the past week i have tried the wake back to bed (WBTB) technique twice, and both times resulted in at least one lucid dream. so if you havent tried WBTB, give it a shot!
